There is nothing like a new pair of sneakers. There is also nothing like the first mark on the sneakers. It is so disappointing. Well I have some ideas that can help keep those new sneakers white.

When you bring the new shoes home, pick up a can of scotch guard. Spray your shoes real good and then let them dry. The scotch guard will help protect the shoes from light markings. So a drip or rain or puddles will not have as big of an impact on your shoes and you can normally wipe off most of the problems you run into.

For the bigger problems like wear creases, there is hope. In almost any grocery store the have shoes polish. Next to the shoe polish there is a whitening polish. Mostly it is used to write on a person’s car windows. However, you can use it to cover up blemishes, scuffs and wear marks. If you do these two things you will extend the happiness that is a new pair of screaming white sneakers.
